Let’s Do Marketing shortlisted for national award in milestone first recognition

Let’s Do Marketing has been shortlisted for the Place-Based Enterprise & Local Economy Award at the 2026 National Enterprise Network (NEN) Awards—marking the first time the team has been recognised at a national level.

The shortlisting represents a major and very proud milestone for Let’s Do Marketing, highlighting the organisation’s growing reputation for delivering impactful, accessible marketing support that drives real economic outcomes for businesses and communities.

The Place-Based Enterprise & Local Economy Award celebrates organisations that are making a difference in communities—supporting business growth, improving skills, and contributing to long-term prosperity. The National Enterprise Network Awards, in partnership with Barclays, annually celebrate excellence in enterprise support across the UK, and shine a spotlight on organisations that are driving innovation and growth within their communities, with the Place-Based Enterprise & Local Economy Award among a range of categories that highlight the inspiring work taking place across the UK to drive real change.

Being shortlisted for the 2026 award is a celebration of the impact of Let’s Do Marketing’s project delivery in Luton through the Luton Online: Digital Marketing Launchpad programme. Delivered in partnership with Luton Borough Council and Step Forward Luton between 2024-2026, the programme has provided hands-on marketing training and support to small businesses and entrepreneurs across the town. Through workshops, one-to-one guidance, and practical tools, Let’s Do Marketing has empowered participants to take control of their own marketing activity—reducing reliance on costly external agencies and building sustainable, in-house capability.

This approach has delivered measurable results, with Luton businesses supported through the programme reporting increased revenue, the creation of new jobs, and the adoption of new digital tools and technologies. By improving digital skills and confidence within the Luton business community, Let’s Do Marketing has helped unlock growth potential within the local economy while ensuring tailored support is accessible to those who need it most.

Being shortlisted for our first national award is a huge moment for our team. It reflects the passion and dedication we bring to making marketing accessible and practical for businesses that might otherwise feel priced out or overwhelmed. We’re especially proud that this recognition is rooted in the real impact we’ve had in Luton—helping businesses grow, create jobs, and build confidence in their own marketing.

The shortlisting also reflects Let’s Do Marketing’s work beyond Luton. At the heart of its mission is a commitment to making marketing and digital skills more accessible – breaking down barriers, simplifying the jargon, and empowering business owners with the skills they need to succeed. Regularly collaborating with local authorities, VCSE organisations as well as private sector clients, the Let’s Do Marketing team prides themselves on being approachable, affordable and accessible, with an experienced team that embodies the ethos and aim of the wider Let’s Do Business Group of improving communities and creating long term prosperity with each and every project they deliver.

This recognition comes alongside further success for the wider group, with Let’s Do Marketing’s parent organisation, Let’s Do Business Group, also shortlisted at the 2026 National Enterprise Network Awards 2026 in the Enterprise Support Organisation of the Year (over £750k) category, an award it previously won in both 2023 and 2024. Together, these nominations highlight the collective impact being delivered across the group’s services to support businesses and local economies.

The National Enterprise Network Awards 2026 celebrate excellence in enterprise support across the UK, shining a spotlight on organisations that are driving innovation and economic growth within their communities, and the 2026 winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on 26 March 2026.
