Let's Do Marketing Secures Contract Extension with North Essex Economic Board Until March 2027
Let's Do Marketing has been reappointed by the North Essex Economic Board (NEEB) to deliver its communications strategy for a further year, extending our partnership until March 2027.
The contract extension follows two highly successful years of collaboration, during which Let's Do Marketing has worked as NEEB's communications partner, helping to raise awareness of the Board's work, amplify its programmes and strengthen engagement with businesses, stakeholders and communities across North Essex.
Since first being appointed in 2024, Let's Do Marketing has developed and delivered a comprehensive communications strategy that has transformed NEEB's visibility and reach across the region – creating a consistent and professional voice for the Board while supporting the promotion of key economic development initiatives across the region, including business support and engagement programmes.
Through the activity carried out by Let’s Do Marketing, the social media audiences for the North Essex Economic Board have grown substantially – with Linkedin followers increasing by 410%, Facebook followers rising by 1,321%, and Instagram followers growing by 1,893%. Website traffic has also increased by 668%, rising from 2,486 annual visitors at the start of the contract to more than 19,000 visitors by March 2026.
Alongside digital growth, Let's Do Marketing grew NEEB's newsletter subscriber base by 379% while achieving engagement rates significantly above industry benchmarks. Our team also created and distributed a programme of website content, case studies, press releases and campaign support that has helped to showcase the real impact of NEEB across Essex.
Through our partnership, we’ve supported a range of key initiatives including the Young Entrepreneurs Programme, which engaged 146 young people from across the region, and NEEB's sponsorship of the North Essex Business Expo, helping local businesses access valuable opportunities to promote and grow their organisations with a free exhibition stand competition.
Stacey Pretty, Marketing Director of Let’s Do Marketing, said:
"We are incredibly proud to have been reappointed by the North Essex Economic Board and are excited to continue this partnership through to March 2027.
Over the past two years, we've worked closely with NEEB to build a communications strategy that not only delivers measurable results but also creates a lasting legacy. Together, we've grown audiences, increased awareness and helped ensure that the important work being delivered across North Essex reaches the people who need to hear about it.
We look forward to building on these achievements, supporting even more ambitious programmes and helping NEEB continue to strengthen its voice as a champion for economic growth across the region."
Cllr Ivan Henderson, NEEB Chairman, added:
"We are pleased to be working again with Let's Do Marketing, who were selected after a tendered procurement process and based upon their skills and expertise in supporting business development in the area."
Over the next year, Let's Do Marketing will continue to lead the Board's communications activity, building on the strong foundations already established while supporting the delivery of new initiatives, campaigns and opportunities that benefit businesses, residents and stakeholders throughout North Essex.
A key focus of the renewed contract will be raising awareness of the wide range of business support programmes available through the North Essex Economic Board and its partners, ensuring that businesses across the region can access the funding, advice, training and growth opportunities designed to help them thrive.
Alongside promoting business support, Let's Do Marketing will continue to showcase the positive economic stories emerging from across North Essex. This will include highlighting initiatives being delivered by local authorities, celebrating investment in towns and communities, promoting inward investment opportunities and sharing examples of innovation, collaboration and growth that demonstrate why North Essex is an attractive place to live, work, invest and do business.
The renewed contract will see the agency continue its work across social media management, content creation, public relations, stakeholder communications, newsletter production, campaign delivery and strategic communications planning.
As NEEB continues to drive sustainable economic growth across the region, Let's Do Marketing remains committed to ensuring its achievements, opportunities and impact are communicated clearly, consistently and effectively, helping more businesses and stakeholders engage with the programmes and initiatives that are shaping the future of North Essex.
